Ascent was founded by two recent high-achievers who know exactly what the right support can do — because they lived it.

TSS 2025 · School Captain · ATAR 99.15

I graduated from TSS in 2025 as School Captain and achieved an ATAR of 99.15, completing Mathematics Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Literature, Physics, and Chemistry. However, this success was not achieved alone. I received tutoring that helped me organise my sports, studies, and social life, ensuring I did not miss out on having an enjoyable Year 12 experience.

This is why Patrick and I founded Ascent Tutoring — to provide the same structure and support to other students.

TSS 2025 · Prefect & House Captain · ATAR 95.85

I graduated from TSS in 2025 as a Prefect and House Captain, achieving an ATAR of 95.85 after completing Mathematics Methods, Physics, English, French, and Chemistry. Through tutoring, I was able to significantly improve my ATAR trajectory, which was initially estimated at 87.15. With structured academic support, I ultimately graduated with a 95.85.

Tutoring also helped me effectively manage my time, allowing me to maintain my leadership roles and sporting commitments, including rugby, where I achieved my goal of playing in the 1st XV.
